Very pleasant experience, the food is great and the staff is really friendly and welcoming. The ambience of the restaurant could be upgraded to be part of the experience since the food is so inspired, but maybe that's in future plans. I totally recommend I had the francesona for starters, which is a delicious mini francesinha with a tiny beer that is a very nice touch, then I had the presas de porco ibérico with mushroom gnocchi for main course, super delicious, never had tried this part of pork but is tender and very savoury, and finally as dessert I had the cookie cake with salted caramel that really closed the meal in the best way possible
We went on a Sunday evening, we had the restaurant for ourselves, a table of 7.This was my second time, so we wanted to try a bit of everything, and they had since changed a bit of the menu.I can’t remember all the dishes now, but it was overall delicious!! From the starters, to dishes to share, to the mains and even dessert, everything was a hit!Definitely recommend a visit here! They are a small restaurant so I would recommend to book a table in advance.
Go there for a culinary experience worth remembering. It’s literally a journey from start to finish. The food was outstanding, great wines and attentive service. I‘ll definitely come back.
One of the best meals I've ever eaten. We chose the journey from the set menu options and the food was incredible from the first bite to the last. The skill and love the chef puts in to his food is obvious with every dish and it made for a really enjoyable dinner. The three pre dinner snacks were amazing and you knew it was going to be an experience from then on. There was around twelve different dishes in total including some amazing bread, butter and olive oil, a prawn dish, a pork dish, a red mullet dish, an amazing take on bacalhau and a recreation of crispy chicken appetiser that needs to be tried. The flavours are shared between Portuguese and Southeast Asian and a lot of the dishes are created from the chefs family memories. The service was also fantastic, very friendly, funny and helpful in choosing a wine, and they can even tweak the dishes if there's any allergies or something you don't like.
If you try one place in Porto, let it be this!! We got the a la carte menu but all the dishes were so good!! The service, the presentation, the wine list.
The chef knows how to liven up your taste buds. We ordered a lunch tasting menu and a few other petiscos. Every dish we had we flavorful, creative, and left you wanting more. The service was a great compliment to the food. We can't wait to visit again.
Ana and Luis made our lunch unforgettable. Ana’s service was incredibly attentive and caring, making us feel right at home. And Luis’s food? Absolutely out of this world—every bite was packed with flavor and made with real passion. Can’t wait to come back!
We had the best time, the food was as incredible as everyone says, tarama, mussels and oxtail so delicious. The evening felt so alive, Sam the sommelier is a wine boss and recommended an incredible wine for us from the Canary Islands, and was super friendly and knowledgable, he was telling us about Corsican wines that we will have to try if we can get a table again!
